We were approached by The Coffee Guide to create a social media presence that enabled them to engage with their target market – Australian coffee drinkers.

We focused on getting their readers more involved and interested, and created a new campaign that brought the spotlight to baristas and cafes. Users can nominate their favourite barista and each week, we publish a Q&A with a new featured ‘Barista Of The Week’. The barista’s portrait also gets displayed as The Coffee Guide’s Facebook profile picture!
Furthermore, we wanted to extend the life of each featured barista (because afterall, baristas make excellent advocates!), so we also developed a custom application on Facebook to neatly display the archive of previously featured baristas. The success of this is that the number of followers is growing organically in an upward curve, and it will soon have the traction to increase exponentially. Remember, you saw it here first!
