Our founder
The Bamboo Garden was founded by Jennifer Lam. Jennifer is better known as the editor of JENIUS: The Spectacular Culinary Adventures of a Sydney Gen Y, www.jenius.com.au, one of Australia’s top food blogs where she also became one of the Top 50 Australian Women Bloggers. More recently, she was nominated for the Cosmopolitan Magazine Fun Fearless Female (Woman Of The Year) Award 2010 and has continued her proactive work in delivering recognition to Australian foodies on the world wide web by maintaining the Top 100 Australian Food Blogs and Top 100 Australian Food Twitterers lists.
Prior to The Bamboo Garden, Jennifer held senior roles in advertising, specialising in digital marketing, production and strategy, project management and account service and has worked with brands such as 20th Century Fox, Lipton, Bushells, Kellogg’s Special K, Kellogg’s Nutri-Grain, Vodafone, KFC and National Geographic Kids.
Jennifer saw that many small–medium food and lifestyle businesses needed affordable guidance and proven marketing strategies to grow in today’s changed consumer landscape and thus, partnering her passion in eating good food with her knowledge and connections as a social media and digital marketer, The Bamboo Garden was born.
