  • I met Jennifer in September 2010 at a time when I needed someone to help me implement an online marketing campaign and to overcome my fear of social media. I had tried traditional advertising and found this to be expensive and with no returns. I soon realised Jennifer had the skills, knowledge & passion to take my business to a level where I could reach an online audience easily and effectively. In the early stages, we worked on updating my website so it was more functional and user friendly and moved on to a monthly newsletter to keep me connected to my customers and to engage new ones. Jennifer has an easy going nature and has guided me through this transition easily. I am looking forward to developing our relationship even further and trust in her abilities.

  • Bau Truong asked The Bamboo Garden to create a website for our business and to also look at how we could use social media to help with our online marketing strategy for the business. We met with Jennifer a few times to discuss our requirements; Jennifer was always very patient, very helpful and informative during the planning sessions. She always tried to work with our time frame. We chose The Bamboo Garden to produce our website and help with the strategy and set-up of our social media presence because of the agency’s combination of food knowledge and marketing background. We wanted our website to tell our family story and the food journey that we would like to lead our customer on, so it was important to have someone with great food knowledge and also an eye for details to be able to translate our vision into a website that we can manage ourselves. We are very happy with the end result.

  • WOW!!!!!!!! It’s seriously like you just went into my head!!!!!!!!!!! Honestly Jen… you are the answer to my prayers, everything that you have listed in the strategy, is something that I have thought about doing, but never known how to do it!

I love the way you have listed everything, it is very clear and feels like a checklist to success! I am so excited to be working with you and can’t wait for these changes to start!

Your ideas are modern, interactive and excite me, you have injected some much needed passion and hope for my future!

  • I came across Jen through her blog and thought she would be a great partner for an outdoor event we ran during Chinese New Year. Jen turned out to be a great presenter and her company, The Bamboo Garden (Word Of The Mouth Pty Ltd), turned out to be much more than that – a partner who understood our vision for a holistic online presence that is consistent with our brand positioning, and came up with a total solution that included a built for purpose website and a Facebook page that really brings our brand to life.

Lots of agencies talks about online content and social media , but in Jen you will find someone who not only knows what she is talking about but lives and breathes this stuff, and has the ability to use her knowledge to develop marketing solutions. It was a pleasure working with Jen and we will not hesitate to recommend Jen and The Bamboo Garden.

  • I found The Bamboo Garden very much by chance while using search engines to locate a suitable agency to help me build an online presence and draw the foodie community to my growing business. Given The Bamboo Garden’s extensive experience helping restaurants and food-related businesses with their own businesses, and Jen’s passion for food, I knew there was likely a fit. Following a productive first meeting with Jen, this was confirmed. I’ve appreciated Jen’s informative, energetic and focused approach to my projects. She is very detail oriented. She and her team have consistently hit deliverable deadlines whether it be the delivery of website design concepts, sourcing creative or integrating the set-up of online applications on my behalf (e.g. Mail Chimp). In my circumstances, there has been several key deadlines (coinciding with TV launch dates or food events) which needed to be accommodated – in all cases, my projects went live and made me “market-ready” to capture traffic and followers. I’ve most appreciated the ability to rely on The Bamboo Garden for projects to come in on time and on budget – I’m a career Direct Marketer, and work with other agencies at my place of work. With sincerity, I can vouch that The Bamboo Garden’s track record for reliability, timeliness of project delivery and lack of “surprises” far exceeds that of many other agencies in the market.

  • Thank you Jen! I was impressed by Jen’s blog and website, and her diverse accomplishments in the digital world, so I approached Jen seeking assistance to design and develop my new business website. Jen is always very accommodating and professional in her service. I am very grateful to Jen and her team for their endless patience and efforts to design not only my website, but a Facebook page for my business. It was a big learning curve for me as I knew nothing about web design/development, but Jen was there to provide suggestions and guidance in a collaborative manner where I was able to give plenty of feedback. Jen has a lot of knowledge in her field, and is always happy to answer questions and teach me tips to best promote and maintain my website. The Bamboo Garden has a dedicated, enthusiastic and friendly approach in providing its services. A fantastic option for all those small – medium businesses out there who need some genuine guidance on their PR, marketing or ideas for their digital presence. I look forward to working with Jen again!

  • I was referred to The Bamboo Garden by one of our loyal customers. She said that Jennifer was the go-to person for food marketing in Sydney.

Jennifer and her team worked closely with us, acting as our online marketing department for over 15 months. During this time, they launched two new websites (one for Cibo e Vino and another for Little Piggy Van), managed many promotional campaigns, sent out dozens of email newsletters, created our birthday specials emails, produced relevant content for our blogs and social media profiles, managed our SEO and they put us on the map with bloggers and the media.

I usually ask new customers how they hear about us and what they say usually confirms to me that our SEO campaign was turning more and more enquiries into bums on seats.

The Bamboo Garden have shown a true dedication to helping our restaurant grow and succeed and they’ve always been fast to respond, helpful and insightful. I’ve now sold the restaurant but would highly recommend The Bamboo Garden to any other food business in Sydney.
